Counselling

Counselling is defined a skilled and principled use of relationship to facilitate self-knowledge, emotional acceptance, and growth. It aims to provide an opportunity for people to work towards living more satisfyingly and resourcefully by addressing specific problems, making decisions, and improving relationships with others. We know that therapy can help you change behaviours and thoughts that hold you back, help you to feel stronger, help you to cope better and help you to build skills with yourself and others. But how do you know if its time to see a therapist?

Mental health challenges that indicate its time to seek support  are :

1. Persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety, or emptiness

2. Difficulty coping with stress

3. Changes in sleep or appetite

4. Struggling with recurring issues with yourself and/or others

5. Persistent somatic symptoms (headache, gut issues, exhaustion)

6. Significant change or loss

7. Feelings of being "stuck"

8. Substance misuse and/or abuse

9. Difficultly prioritizing your own wellness

10. Difficulty

If any of these resonate with you, we encourage you to  reach out to us  as  therapy can provide valuable support and guidance in navigating these challenges. It's okay to seek help, and therapy can be a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
